Dianne Calvi
President
Bring Me A BookŪ Foundation
In addition to serving as the President of the Bring Me A BookŪ Foundation (BMABF), Dianne is the Chair of the Read Aloud Collaborative of Silicon Valley and a Member of the Community Foundation of Silicon Valley's Young Readers, Future Leaders initiative. She is also a Board Member of Shelter Network, providing housing and support services to homeless families and individuals on the Peninsula. She has served as the Secretary of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Development Committee for Shelter Network.
Before working in the social enterprise sector, Dianne worked as a management consultant for Microsoft Corporation and several high tech companies and as a marketing and sales executive for Xerox and Montedison Corporations (Milan, IT). While working as a consultant, she was an Adjunct Professor of International Marketing for City University's MBA Program. She received a BA from Stanford University and a MBA from Bocconi University (Milan, IT) on a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarship. She has served on several nonprofit boards, worked extensively as a reading volunteer in Hillsborough and Bellevue School Districts and is a former active member of the Junior League of Seattle. Dianne is fluent in Italian and has working knowledge of Spanish.
